  The vegan, sugar free, GF breads and baked goods are stellar. It's hard to find truly clean treats in London. The busy cafe has a great vibe for catching up with friends. Plus, the owner loves to meet customers and take feedback.

  Organic Works has some amazing vegetarian options, and the staff are always very accommodating with respect to my food allergies. Their carrot cake is the best thing that has ever happened to me. Obsessed with the homemade granola. Everything here is fresh and delicious, and the owner is so lovely. I love to see small family businesses doing such a fabulous job!

  Was very ignored by all younger staff while waiting by sign to wait to be seated in restaurant. Finally somebody seated me in the bakery area at a table. Gave order which was soup of the day and a tea which I thought should be quick since it was busy. After 20 min got a cold tea latte. After 25 min finally gave up waiting for my soup. Again waited to pay for my latte and counted 6 younger girls standing around ignoring customers. I had lunch elsewhere. It does not give one a good feeling to be so ignored and I will not be returning!!

  This place is quite nice, I have been there many times. The food is made from scratch and with love. I just left there today having a terrible, and lasting impression. I asked one of the wait staff before leaving if they could give me a ball park idea of how many calories was in there Potato Bacon Soup. Her answer was "No I can not, its made from scratch". I asked if the chef would know, her response was "yes he does know, but does not write it down, or can tell me." From a standpoint of creating healthy food, and healthy food choices, information on a numerical level is information a lot of people may or may not want to know. McDonalds has unhealthy, greasy food and they still give you the nutritional information of what you are putting in your mouth. There was just a lack of care, and intrigue from this wait staff member, and to be honest its just turned me off this place. I will be spreading the word of VEG OUT of Richmond now.

  I've had good and bad experiences with the taste of food at vegan restaurants. OWB is definitely one of the good ones! I've been able to try a variety of their options--sandwiches, juice, salads, and baked goods--and loved every one of them. My favorite was the Kelsey bowl, but I also highly recommend their avocado/chick pea sandwich. And they make this amazing chocolate-brownie style whoopie pie that I'm still dreaming about. The dining area is a great environment too. There's a quiet, cozier area near the back and a brighter, more open area by the windows. The entire place is decorated really well with artwork and cool furniture. I only wish they would open up a location near me!
