  We went here today for the first and last time. Got the red curry chicken and chicken balls. I kid you not when I say this is THE worst food I can ever remember ordering from a restaurant in my life outside of a place in Sarnia about 10 years ago. The food was so gross it was inedible, so bad that I literally could not even keep it in my mouth kind of gross level. Chicken balls were like they had been fried and re fried multiple times over days, red curry chicken like it had been scraped out of a garbage dumpster and let sit in a plate for days. I can't believe the owners of this place would have such disgusting standards to serve this to people. We literally paid $15.30 and it went in the garbage.

  I've lived in Vietnam and travelled to Thailand, and this is hands-down, the best place to get curry in London, and probably most of Canada. Their red curry w/chicken on rice, chef's house special vermicelli, and cashew chicken are all to die for. Their fresh rolls are excellent (again, the best I've had since coming back to Canada), and the same goes for their spring rolls (which, by the way, are huge). Their pho is at least as good or better than anyone in the city, although you won't find a truly perfect bowl of Hanoi pho anywhere but in Vietnam.
  
  When it comes to spice, these people don't screw around. Usually, "medium" spice is all people need, but if you're looking for good, tasty heat, their "spicy" versions of just about any dish are fantastic - including the fresh rolls!
  
  It's true that it's a small place, and doesn't offer much in the way of ambience, but I've never been one to care much about that when such good food is available. It's clean, and that's all that really matters. Their dishes are very reasonably priced, even by the standard of Vietnamese food, which is already generally inexpensive. This place beats the heck out of Ben Thanh.
